Also of note are correspondence between Charles W. Clark jr., president of the Library Board of Trustees, and Helene de Gaal of the Manhasset Community Club Library Listing Committee, about screening library books to keep out Communist authors and propaganda, with articles, clippings and lists of suspected subversive writers, 1951.
